If you aren’t going to treasure people,what are you going to treasure?“When a person takes action for another, that is when that person can unleash his/her strength. That strength can become a catalyst to change the world.”This statement is what we believe in and what we need to carry as our pride. Doing something for someone is not naive but it is simply beautiful. It is how a human-being or an organization prospers which history always teaches us. This is why we have aspirations and look into the future.
As a marketer, we see society and the market with a birds eye view analyzing what changed, what is changing, what is truly necessary, what is not actually necessary. Being calm but also have passion. We think what lies in the center of this thought process is not treasuring someone but it is to repetitively ask oneself “If you aren’t going to treasure people, what are you going to treasure?” and check what is true.
Even if our conclusion is always the same, how we reach that conclusion and what we can gain from it changes depending on that moment and time period. The part that changes give us a clue to what is the most suitable method of communication and leads to the optimal method being beneficial to someone.
If we stop questioning, it won’t help for anyone. Questioning and thinking will benefit someone and then it benefits oneself.

何をたいせつにするんだ。
私たちの価値とは。
私たちが、私たちの仕事の中で、これから先もずっと誇っていくべきこととは。それは、“人は「誰かの何かのため」に動く時、最大限のチカラを発揮し、そのチカラは時として世界をも変えるチカラになれる” そう私たち自身が信じているということです。
「誰かのため」は、決してキレイゴトではない。じつにキレイなこと。美しいこと。人や組織、社会の美しい成長のあり方。そのことはいつだって過去の歴史が教えてくれる。だからこそ私たちは、憧れを持って野望を持って「未来」を見ています。
マーケッターとして鳥の目を持ち、常に変化する社会や市場を俯瞰の目で見つめ、何が変わったのか・何が変わりつつあるのか・いま本当に必要なものは何か・本当は必要じゃないものは何か。情熱を持ちながら、冷静の目で見極める。その思考のプロセスの真ん中に常にあるもの、それは「人をたいせつにする」ということではない。“人をたいせつにしないで、何をたいせつにするんだ”といつまでも問い続け、何度でも「本当のことを確かめる」そんなことだと、私たちは思う。
辿り着く結論はいつも一緒だとしても、辿り着き方や辿り着くまでに得られることは、その瞬間、その時代によって必ず変わってくる。その「変わってくる部分」こそが、最適なコミュニケーションのヒントになり、いちばんふさわしい“誰かのためのなり方”につながるのです。
問い続けることを怠れば、誰のためにもならない。思い、思い至ることこそが、「誰かのため」になり、やがて「自分のため」にもなる。
